Beijing Small & Medium Enterprise Service Center

Beijing Small & Medium Enterprise Service Center (abbreviated as “this Center” thereinafter), with the funds from Beijing financial budget and directly under the management of Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, is a governmental non-profit organization, which offers full services for small, medium and private enterprises in Beijing. It is also the vice chairman entity of China National Small & Medium Enterprise Service Center Consortium.

With the support of relevant governmental departments, this Center provides the state-owned enterprises with full services in overall processes, such as: guidance on system reform and reorganization policies; diagnosis of enterprises; system reform plan; assets evaluation; business guidance; etc.

In order to increase the enterprise’s competitive power in international market, this Center organizes the enterprises to participate in many international trading and financing activities, such as: international cooperation; investment opportunities; project promotion; and overseas listing.

This Center establishes “Window of Services for Beijing Small & Medium Enterprises” (http: www.beijingsme.org) and “Chinese Enterprise Listing Website” (http: www.chinaipo.org) to set up the “Bridge on Line” for the entire society.

This Center has successfully organized the following activities: “Service Day for Small & Medium Enterprises”; “Overseas Listing Seminar for Beijing Enterprises”; “Brand Promotion Seminar for Beijing Enterprises”; and “Spring of Small & Medium Enterprises – New Year Concert of 2006”.

This Center organizes the enterprises, banks, agencies and governmental organizations to visit Spain, France, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Moreover, this Center has continuously sponsored the “System Reform Policy Presentation and Representative Case Commenting Meeting for State-Owned Enterprises” for 16 times.

In addition, “Credit and Financing Services for Small & Medium Enterprises in Beijing” and “Bank-Enterprise Financing Project Promotion Meeting” (for 4 times) has been undertaken by this Center.

This Center organizes the Expert Consulting Committee, Agency & Service Institute Consortium, and “Capital News Media Supporting Union” to utilize the advantages of capital social resources to serve the small & medium enterprises.

The following publications are compiled and printed by this Center: Information Bulletin for Small & Medium Enterprises in Beijing; Collection of Policies Necessary for Innovation and Development of Beijing Enterprises (Volume 1 to 5); and References for Credit and Financing of Small & Medium Enterprises.

With the spirit of “Dedication to Bridging Activities”, this Center has advocated and practiced to play the role of bridges between the small & medium enterprises and the government, the bank, the guarantee entity, the investment entity, and the news media.

Cooperating with more than 350 finance entities, guarantee institutes, agencies, universities and industrial associations in Beijing, this Center has been offering standardized, professional and human-oriented services for 690,000 small, medium and private enterprises.

This Center will consistently pursue continuous innovation in the construction of 3 main systems (i.e.: governmental service; professional service; and social service) to accelerate the rapid development of small, medium and private enterprises.
